This policy explains, in plain language, what information Dining Option collects when you visit the site and how it is used. We have kept the site simple so that we collect as little as possible.
What we do not do
- We do not show advertising.
- We do not use analytics or tracking cookies.
- We do not run comment forms; comments are closed on all articles.
- We do not run a newsletter or mailing list.
- We do not sell or share personal information.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our web server keeps standard access logs. These record technical details of each request, such as your IP address, your browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. We use these logs only for security and troubleshooting, for example to spot and block abusive traffic or to fix errors. They are not used to build profiles of visitors.
Cookies
The site does not set cookies for visitors. WordPress, the software that runs the site, may set a cookie only for administrators who log in to manage the site.
Emails
If you email us at Advertising@DiningOption.com, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use this only to reply to you and to deal with your enquiry. We do not add you to any list.
Links to other websites
Our articles link to other websites, including official sources and, in contributed articles, the contributors’ own sites. Those websites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle information.
Your choices and questions
If you have a question about this policy, or would like us to delete correspondence you have sent us, email Advertising@DiningOption.com and we will respond as soon as we can.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site works in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this page and the date above.
